How to: Determine how much memory is installed on the computer.
Solution:
Right-click the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop, select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu, and select the 'General' tab.
1) Right-click the 'My Computer' icon and select 'Properties' from the shortcut menu. (The 'System Properties' dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'General' tab.

3) The amount of random access memory (RAM) installed on the computer is displayed in the 'Computer' group near the bottom of the 'System Properties' dialog box.
